I love the original music my husband created for it, as it suits my words just perfectly, and it takes the listener on a beautiful journey toward a quiet, surrendered mind.

I love his creativity… using unexpected sounds, like the accordion, in a subtle way, for a unique  texture, and delicately changing direction, for a journey that is both deeply healing and memorable.

I also love the words I share, which were unscripted and flowed easily on that day, through divine guidance. Today, in this political climate of anxiety and uncertainty, the message in this track has never been so needed.

Coming from my Taoist marrow, I ask at one point… What kind of beauty is just around the bend? For, Taoism doesn’t just leave room for surprises, it fully counts on them! Reality moves in circles, rather than straight lines. And when one extreme reaches its maximum, it naturally flips over and morphs into its opposite.

“Reversal is the movement of the Tao,” the teachings say.

This is a reminder that excess will always correct itself… that rigidity leads to its own demise… and that unjust force will collapse of its own accord.

Knowing this, we can remember the power we have within to stay strong when we need to, and that inner peace is always available to us. This knowing is where sanity lives.
