Mount Roraima is located on the Guyanese shield, at the southeast end of the 30,000 km2 of the Canaima Venezuela National Park,

forming the highest peak in the Guyana Highlands Range. The park’s Plains are considered one of Earth’s oldest geological formations, dating back to 2 billion years in the Pre-Cambrian era.
