by Erin Simone: Why fruit is such a powerful vibrational food and three ways to reap its amazing benefits…
Nikola Tesla said it best: “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” But is it truly possible to find the secrets of the universe in the ubiquitous apple or orange? The answer is a resounding YES! If you’ve ever sliced a whole piece of fruit—such as a kiwi, melon, or persimmon—in half, you’ve no doubt noticed the middle is essentially geometrically proportional. (This is also referred to as sacred geometry.) What exactly makes a seemingly simplistic piece of fruit sacred, and is this why fruit is considered the apex of vibrational foods?
Sacred Geometry, Sacred Fruit
Although we’re not always consciously aware of it, sacred geometry is all around us. These intricate patterns and shapes vibrationally drive our lives as they hold unique frequencies that can affect our mood and some decisions we make.
According to the wellness and travel platform Destination Deluxe, “Sacred geometry is considered an ancient science that explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things and reveals the precise way that the energy of creation organizes itself.” Succinctly put, there are elaborate mathematical codes behind these patterns that have the potential to radically shift and change our energy, sometimes instantaneously.
We’ve all heard the saying, “you are what you eat,” and it’s an idea that holds some serious merit. Have you ever noticed how light and motivated you feel after a bowl of luscious, ripe fruit but feel instantly drawn to the couch after a pizza and chocolate cake? Unlike the pizza and cake, fruit contains an incredible powerhouse of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and structured water that are intricately woven into its sacred geometrical patterns. Luckily, you are the conduit fortunate enough to receive these high vibrational properties. But is there actual scientific data behind this energetic “high” we can potentially get from fruit?
Measuring Vibrational Foods
In the 1930s and ’40s, Frenchman Andre Simoneton (an electromagnetism expert), experimented with measuring the electromagnetic waves of food. He determined that for a human being to maintain optimal health, one must maintain a vibration of 6,500 angstroms. He created five categories of food and concluded that food measuring between 6,500-10,000 angstroms (which included raw, fresh, and ripe fruit as well as fresh-squeezed juice), contained the highest vibration. He emphasized that just-ripened fruit had the highest vibration. Other top vibrational foods include raw vegetables, nuts, seeds, and olives.

Of course, it’s not always possible to eat fruit that has just been picked or squeeze fresh juice. However, once you get a taste of that magical, energetic, and clear-headed feeling, you may find you start prioritizing how often you consume these highest forms of vibrational foods. Knowing there is an actual frequency in each piece of fruit is a force to be reckoned with.
Good Vibrations
1. The easiest way to get the best vibrational foods into your diet is with a refreshing fruit smoothie. A tropical delight might include frozen banana, pineapple, and mango blended with some coconut water, unsweetened coconut milk, or fresh-squeezed orange juice. If you are wanting an antioxidant-rich smoothie, opt for a berry medley of frozen strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and cherries blended with some pineapple juice. And if you are yearning for something a little greener, try frozen banana, pineapple, baby spinach, cucumber, celery, your favorite green powder, lime juice, fresh ginger, and coconut water.
*Tip: Try to consume fruit on its own by waiting at least half an hour before eating other foods. This will prevent fermentation in the body, which can lead to an overgrowth of yeast and bacteria in the small intestines.
2. If you love traditional cereal, try this fruit cereal version with banana “milk.” Simply slice half of a ripe banana with chopped mango, sliced kiwi, strawberries, and blueberries. (Alternatively, slice your favorite fruit combinations.) Blend the other half of the banana with half of a frozen banana and a little water. (Feel free to add a little vanilla extract as well.) Blend until you achieve a smooth, milk-like consistency. Pour this creamy, dairy-free delight over the cereal and sprinkle with some dried mulberries for extra iron or goji berries for extra protein. It’s so good!
3. If you’ve never had an acai bowl, you are definitely missing out! Acai is a small, purple berry loaded with antioxidants and inflammation-lowering omega 3’s. A wonderful combination is one packet of frozen, unsweetened acai put into a high-speed blender with frozen pineapple, strawberries, mango, banana, and blueberries. Adding some coconut water, unsweetened almond or cashew milk, or fresh orange juice gives just enough sweetness. And then you want to blend until creamy and smooth.
The key to a great acai bowl is not adding too much liquid. You can always add more but it’s best to start off with a small amount to achieve a thick, rich, ultra-creamy mixture. Once you spoon the mixture into a bowl, feel free to add some fresh berries or some mango and kiwi with unsweetened coconut flakes.
Next time you’re hungry, think about how you want to feel versus only focusing on you what you want in that fleeting moment. It’s ok to indulge, but the more you partake in eating foods that raise your vibration, like fruit, it will become more challenging to consume foods that can potentially lower it. The energetic, all-natural high and internal glow that come with choosing high vibrational foods, as well as the potential for weight loss, are the cherries on top.
