As of today, October 9th, 2010 a new heart beats within the chest of Don Miguel Ruiz. At midnight last night a donor heart was matched with don Miguel and after a mad scramble to secure a plane he was flown from Austin Texas to the hospital where the transplant took place. The surgery was successful and he his recovering at this time. It will be some time before he is fully recovered and back to his lively self.
