Mother Meera During a psychic surgery session recently, I was asked by Harry to raise the vibrations by asking any questions. I took the opportunity to mention that I’d recently read an article by a supposed guru, who had stated that he knew he had two souls. This had rather taken my breath away, as clearly, this goes against all spiritual knowledge and belief systems of most people.
Harry said that the man was probably confusing it with his ability to astral travel when the body can be in one place and his spirit/soul elsewhere. That was what I had thought too. However the man had said he was certain that he has two souls and was therefore perfectly capable of performing two tasks on the physical at any time! Again Harry said this was impossible.
This led to a discussion on O.O.B. and other experiences. I mentioned that on one occasion when I was with a medium who I know quite well, she had suddenly told me that Mother Meera was standing beside me. I had no idea at that time who Mother Meera was or that she was still on the physical. I’d assumed she was an entity in spirit. The medium said that the psychic/healer Mother Meera lives in Germany and is very much alive. However, on rare occasions the medium is aware of her being present with her. She said it was an indication from Meera that the person who she was with should be noted, as the person was known on a soul level by Meera.*
Harry answered that it is perfectly possible for such a person/soul to be very much alive and yet appear in another part of the world when and where appropriate. This is something that the Indian mystic Sai Baba is noted for. Many devotees regularly see him in Benjamin Cream’s lectures in London. Sai Baba also covers walls and pictures of him with a physical ectoplasm or holy dust.
Harry went on to say that this is an example of a person on the physical being so totally attuned to their own soul-that they have the ability to put a barrier betwixt the problems of the physical and their own spiritual state. He mentioned Dr.Stephen Hawking, the well known scientist, who although trapped in a body which is almost completely crippled, his higher self is so completely in touch with his soul, he is able to remember and be in tune with his past lives (on a subconscious level) and so bring the knowledge he acquired through many karma’s into one lifetime, for the good of all.
I had thought that Hawking’s dreadful physical state was probably of karmic origin. What I hadn’t realised was the ability for a soul living out such a karma to attune to their own soul in such an amazing way. Clearly, this had been pre-ordained.
On a lesser scale, I have noticed over the years, certain individuals who have undergone many years of physical ill health-particularly when they are imprisoned in their own bodies and homes, have honed a special ability to attune to problems of others, particularly health problems, even though the one sensing and the one suffering are many hundreds of miles apart.
This is not astral travel, although some of these sensitives may astral travel. Because of their low vibration/energy level, they may not even astral travel as much as others. Their higher self is able to ‘mentally and psychically travel’. They are also more likely to have a higher pain threshold than normal and are often able to ‘distance’ themselves from the pain through a form of meditation.
*Mother Meera, was born in 1960. This Indian lady draws many thousands to her German home where they sit in her silent presence. She claims that even before birth she knew her divine origins and mission. In an interview she has even denied being a human being. In private conversation she has admitted having eighty per cent of the powers of God.
People wait their turn to kneel in front of her while she lays her hands on their heads, then they look into her eyes. For many this is a transformative act. They feel charged with an extra power and in the subsequent months many changes are effected in their lives. Such human contact is almost incidental to what she sees as her primary job of channelling a new light into the universe, and planting it into the core of material existence so as to prompt the evolution of cosmic consciousness. Looking into her eyes is supposed to put her followers into direct contact with such light so that they are filled by it.
People see Mother Meera transfigured into deities of their own religions. Lights of different colours blaze from her. It is said that Mother Meera’s story started in a village close to where she was born, some forty-two years before her birth. A five year-old boy called Venkat ignored his birth mother as he cried for his ‘divine’ mother. He was convinced that his purpose in life was to be the support and companion of the supreme divine mother of the present age, and only such a mother would do.
As is common in such tales, it was only when he released his ambition that it was fulfilled. He returned to run his wife’s estate on his father-in-law’s death and discovered a young girl working as a servant in his household. He was then 47, she was 11 years old. In this young girl he found someone willing to accept the role of divine mother.
Meera had felt special powers all through her young life, yet told no one of them because there was no one person able to believe her. Venkat was looking for a young divine mother to promote, the girl was looking for someone to have faith in her. It was a perfect combination. He told her of his longing to find a girl with special powers, and in return she confessed to having these powers.
Before being launched into the spiritual arena, the sixteen year old Mother Meera underwent six months of intense tuition by Venkat. He deemed it important that she be able to impress leading figures of the Aurobindo ashram, and so coached her in the philosophy he had learned himself from the teachings of Aurobindo and Sweet Mother. This period of training was erased from the official histories, which focused instead on how much an uneducated girl had impressed the ashram authorities with knowledge she could only have gained from divine intuition. Venkat was a master at marketing his protégée into the world phenomenon she has since become.
It is hard to be an 11 year old girl in remote village India, to have your charismatic employer choose to invest his whole life and aspirations into your young and impressionable life, and not reward him by accepting his fantasies as your own. Whether she believes in her own supreme divinity or not, Mother Meera prefers followers to view her in a divine rather than a human light.
