When you make a commitment to someone, a genuine promise that you’re going to do what you say you’ll do, Ferrazzi’s research says the chance of you keeping your word increases by 30 percent. Other times, we know what we need to do, but struggle to make it happen alone. He says the 30 percent success hike that people enjoy in collaborations is the power of relationships.
