The Dalai Lama could be reincarnated as a blond woman in his next life, he quipped in a recent interview from his home…
But not just any blonde.
She should be “mischievous” and “her face must be very attractive [or] nobody [will] pay much attention,” the monk said in an interview on Friday, according to The Sunday Times of London.
Buddhists believe the role of the Dalai Lama has been filled for 600 years through reincarnation, and the aging spiritual leader’s rebirth is on followers’ minds as their leader nears his 80th birthday in July.
But he’s not fretting over death, he told the paper.
“Sometimes we forget our old age and still feel young,” he said.
He’ll rock out at the Glastonbury Festival of music this weekend in Somerset, England — along with Kanye West and The Who.
