by Gabby Bernstein: I have such a gorgeous meditation practice for you today. This is a Kundalini meditation for healing hands…
Throughout my career I’ve felt this amazing experience when I’m on stage or leading a group. My hands will get really warm, even hot! It’s like I’m using my hands as antennas to hold the space and energy of the community.
This can happen with a big audience or in a one-on-one situation, like when you’re meeting with a client or patient.
Our hands express prana — the light, love and energy of the Universe. When we activate our hands through this Kundalini meditation, they can be an even greater source of healing and kindness that we can offer to the world.
This amazing Kundalini meditation for healing hands can help us in so many different areas of our lives.
For example, if you practice the healing arts, you can activate your hands before you give a massage or do Reiki. You can do this meditation before you give a presentation at work, or you can even activate your hands and bless a loved one at home. Maybe you care for animals, work with elderly folks, tend plants or style hair!
There are so many times in our lives when this Kundalini meditation practice can be super powerful.
If you’re physically sick or feeling pain, you can use this meditation and place your hands on those different areas of your body where you need that relief. You can help yourself with your own healing touch!
Follow my guidance in the video below. Check out each step and then bring them together in your own practice! I also outline each step below the video.
I hope this Kundalini healing hands meditation serves you greatly!
Kundalini Meditation for Healing Hands
Step 1: Rub the palms of your hands together for 3 to 5 minutes so you begin to create heat within your hands.
Step 2: Step 2 requires Breath of Fire, which is a rapid fluttering of your diaphragm while you begin to breathe very quickly in and out of your nose. (Watch the video to see what it looks and sounds like.) The diaphragm extends on the inhale and contracts on the exhale. To make sure you know what this feels like, you can place your hand on your stomach and feel it expand as you inhale and relax as you exhale. Inhale through your nose as your stomach goes out, exhale through your nose as it releases. Inhale out, exhale release. Inhale out, exhale release. Remember to both inhale and exhale through your nose. Breath of fire is very rapid, with your diaphragm fluttering. Note: If you’re a woman on your period or you’re pregnant, just do long, deep breaths.
As you do Breath of Fire, you reach your arms out to the side, extended at shoulder height. Keep your elbows soft; don’t lock them out.
Practice this for 3 minutes.
Step 3: Your arms are still out to the sides. Now push your hands out to the sides as if you’re pressing the energy of the walls away from you. Feel that energy move through your hands. You’re holding your breath and feeling the energy extending through your hands. Then take a deep breath in, exhale, and release your arms down.
Step 4: In step 4 you rub the palms of your hands together again for 2 minutes. Rub vigorously to get the heat going again.
Step 5: This is the final step! You bend both elbows, keeping your forearms parallel with each other. Your left hand is below, palm up, next to your diaphragm. Your right arm is above, palm down, next to your chest. You’re holding an energy between your hands. As you sit in this meditation for 3 minutes you’ll feel the energy expand. You’ll feel heat and a magnetic force between the palms.
Feel the activation as you sit in this meditation for 3 minutes.
When you come out of your meditation you’ll feel your hands are activated. You’ll feel energized. You’ll feel you’ve done a great healing practice for yourself. And you’ll be able to offer any kind of healing when it’s asked for, or if you need it.
You can lay your hands on any part of your body and send light into it and trust that you can heal your own body.
If you want to self-soothe, do healing work or give a presentation, this Kundalini meditation practice is really powerful. It’s also just a beautiful practice to try out! Enjoy the process.
