Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, co-founder and director of Goldenbridge Yoga, is cofounder and director of Golden Bridge Yoga, the premier Kundalini Yoga center in Los Angeles, California, and New York City.
In 1972, she was baptized by her spiritual teacher and Kundalini Yoga master Yogi Bhajan with the Sikh spiritual name “Gurmukh,” meaning “one who helps people across the world ocean.” Since that time, Gurmukh has dedicated her life to fulfilling her namesake.
For nearly three decades, students in Los Angeles and from around the world have sought out her classes in Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and pre-and post-natal care, and she currently works closely with the Amrit Davaa World Health Organization to bring much needed medical supplies and attention to orphanages in India, Tibet, and Mexico.
